I fell asleep listening to Astral Weeks by Van Morrison last night - that is I tried to. Although always having been a big fan of the album, for some reason the way it was playing last night a bit heavy on the bass mix reminded me of how goddamn transcendental the bass tracks were. And I was so into it I couldn’t fall asleep. Richard Davis just SLAYED it on the double bass. So give me all your refutations or agreements here.
