So, look... Last weekend was the worst football weekend of my life. EVERY SINGLE TEAM that I love lost, and EVERY SINGLE TEAM that I hate won (in a couple of instances, against my favorites teams). But let’s move on from that, as this week has some fun match ups. BEGIN.
UPSET ALERT: I’m putting this first because my upset pick plays early today. West Virginia (20) is going to get beaten by Texas Tech in another example of why the Big XII is a cluster fuck this year. The spread favors WV, but only by -2. Tech’s weird ass offensive style and criminally insane fans in Lubbock will overcome that. Sorry, Mountaineers...
Baylol (11) will beat Kansas in Waco today (if there is a God, it would be great to smite the false Christians in green and yellow with a loss to Kansas. Just saying. Amen), but no one will be watching that. Instead, they’ll watch Alabama (1) march into Knoxville to take on Tennessee (9). Can the Vols do it?! Can they dethrone the de facto king of the SEC?! Probably not, but it’ll be fun to watch them try.
Does ANYONE else have a weird feeling about the Ohio State (2)-Wisconsin (8) game? The Badgers are hot this year, and they’re playing in Madison. Wouldn’t that be a neat little piece of anarchy if the Badgers and Vols BOTH won?! The AP poll would implode.
Almost forgot: Colorado is playing Arizona State tonight at 7 pm CST. Not a ranked team, but they’ve been a surprise this year at 4-2. Should be a good game.
