Did a quick look around to see if any part of uni-gawker thought this was worth mentioning, and surprisingly saw a couple token mentions. Unsurprisingly this news didn’t seem to interest uni-gawkers readers very much. An article about the dirty dancing remake being bad has five times as many views on Jezebel as their article on the subject. The Fusion’s article on the same topic hasn’t even got 2K views, and The Root didn’t mention it at all.
It’s a pretty huge story really, for many reasons, but I guess good news just doesn’t make good clickbait. More stories about elderly white people being mean please!
