I was raised by old-fashioned conservative family. My mom has been suckered in by all the neo-con, tea party bullshit, as have a lot of gullible people. It’s disappointing, but the party looks from where I stand, a grotesque parody of what it once was.
Is the party still good for anything other than wasting other people’s money? Like, in practical terms, does it do anything good for us?
