So, after Saturday’s terrible early game and insane late game, now we get to see how the NFC side shakes out. I could be wrong, but I think these two games will probably be less fighty. And probably a little less turnover-y.

Seattle at Minnesota: I’ll be pulling for the Vikes to win this one. Not because I have any real hatred or bitterness toward Seattle; yes, they beat the crap out of my Broncos in the Super Bowl, but who hasn’t, really? (Oh, right, the Packers and Falcons.) They won because the Broncos showed they weren’t prepared at all, and the Seahawks did what a champion does, they pounced on it. Actually, I turned that game off at halftime. (I sat through the entire 49ers SB beatdown, I knew how this one was going to end.) Anyway, I just want them out because I’d like to see one of the 3 NFC teams that’s never won one get there. I know it’s a bit of a long shot, but then again the Vikings have the weather on their side. What can I say, I have a weakness for underdogs. But Seattle will probably pull it out.

Green Bay at Washington: I have no dog in this fight, but the Packers have the stench of death about them. I guess the Pack is favored by a point (really?), so I’ll go with the underdog again and pick the Our-owner-is-a-shithead’s. (Still a better name than Redskins.)
