Here it is, the last stop before Super Bowl 50. It seems right that both conference matchups are the 1 & 2 seeds.

The way this season has gone, I’m not at all surprised that the Broncos will have to beat the Patriots to make it to the Super Bowl. Nothing has been easy for them this year (except the Packers’ game). Losing Ryan Clady before the season started was a huge blow, and the O-line hasn’t really recovered from it. Then Peyton struggled a lot with the new offense and it showed. Brock came in and was pretty good for a stretch, but he doesn’t have the ability to read defenses as well as Peyton. I feel good about him going forward, though. Unlike in years past, it doesn’t feel like this team is taking anything for granted. That’s why I think they will beat the Pats. The Broncos may struggle early like they did against the Steelers, but if the defense can start hitting Tom Brady he will start to rush his throws and hear phantom footsteps. I’ve seen it before. Here’s hoping it happens again.

Which Carson Palmer is showing up today? He didn’t look all that good against the Packers. If he has another day like that, the Panthers are going to nail them. Until the second half, when they let the Cardinals back into the game. I think the Panthers are going to win, but I wouldn’t be surprised if the Cards upset.
