I partly blame NJ for just being expensive...and partly just the fact people try to pass off a shit show of an apartment (or a bad area) as a possible gold mine.
In my town, a one bedroom apartment in a nice(ish) area runs about 1800/month. I’d love to move out, but that’s 21k a year for rent alone. I really hope this new job works out and I can move up the ladder to make more.
