Looking through popular articles I wondered what this Gamergate thing is about so I clicked the article and started reading.
My first thought was why wasn't this on Kotaku. Then I read more and realized they were one of the guilty parties\heroes depending on what side you're on. Then I saw the whole thing got it's name from Adam Baldwin of all people. They even had this great line summing it up.
Yes: The #Gamergate movement was born—borrowing a hashtag coined by conservative Fireflyactor Adam Baldwin—in response to this widespread repudiation of the term "gamer" and the scummy layer of misogyny it had picked up.
