Tips for a good night's sleep?

I havent been able to have a good night of sleep in months. Im always waking up from a really weird or dark dream. And if thats not it, I wake up in the morning anxious and never fully rested. And it doesn’t matter if I get 4 hours of sleep or 10 hours. Im tired of waking up shaky and worried about something or another.

Side note: Ive tried the whole no electronics or noise for 30 minutes before trick. But usually it has unrelated side effects: this weird feeling of emptiness. Maybe its the fact that I sleep alone in a queen size bed, but I feel really off when its all dark and im left with just my imagination.
