After reading about the alleged suspect in the NY/NJ bombings (rant)

I feel that much more terrified in my own brown skin.

As of recently, the thought of being harassed because I look like I could be a radical Islamic terrorists is frightening.

And as time passes, I’ll have to realize that a white person shooting and killing an innocent Middle-Eastern might be seen as patriotism by the masses before it’s seen as homicide.

I’m a raging cynic, but I’m also an individual trying to make it in a country that’s prejudiced against me.
