Originally, I thought I’d be exempt from the immigration ban because I was born in the US and, despite being born from two native Iranian parents, I have dual citizenship in Iran and the US.
Of course, the Australian kid wasn’t a US citizen, but this was unprecedented given the details of the original ban.
If I leave the US, I might not be able to come back since my parents are Iranian, despite my US citizenship. Despite my father having almost died for the US in Iraq in 2003.
