Fina Corgi Citroen (not Renault lol) 2CV 1:64 One stance to rule them all.

I picked up this 2CV on the bay of eeeeeees recently. Mainly, because I absolutely fell in love with the stance. They nailed it. They absolutely nailed it with this cast. If you have ever seen a 2CV in the wild, they sit rather high. Almost as if the little car has portal axles for off road fun!

This Corgi model has a special base that actually has the axles further away from the main part of the base. Underneath, it looks quite ugly. But, the design is brilliant to achieve maximum realism in the suspension appearance. Note, I say “appearance” because the suspension is non-existent. There’s no springy shock play for this car, which is sad. Can’t win them all.

This lovely model came with the original box and is almost mint except for a paint chip on the front nose. I love the two tone paint (showing off the cloth covers) and the attention to detail on the clear window plastic.

The wheels are nice and suit this car’s appearance well. I’ve always liked the 2CV and I had the common yellow Corgi Bond edition when I was a kid.

I’m very happy to have this in my collection. Excellent cast.
