This project was on the backburner for waaaaay too long. I absolutely love the Johnny Lightning International Scout II Cast. The details are fantastic. But it originally came on a huge lifted suspension with big mudder tires. No Bueno. The glorious stock-appearance Scout II deserved wheels a bit more understated.
I originally wanted to use some Tomica Button wheels. But, I don’t really have any incredibly wrecked Tomicas that would make good wheel donors. The next best best is my stash of junkyard Yatmings! A thoroughly trashed Rolls Royce became a suitable donor. Pics of the final result below.
