And yes, it’s the 3rd of May, sunny and 17.7°C today (64°F), tomorrow’s forecast high is 22°C and Tuesday 21°C (low 70’s °F). However, this was the pile of snow at my front corner on April 6. It’s over 2.5m high (~8’) and at one time was well over 3m. During one storm the snow covered my green bin you see there in the foreground. We had an absolutely freak of a winter. Several larger-than-normal snowfalls and none of the usual thaw spells to melt it between storms. It’s been above freezing every day for a month, but that pile of snow is so big it’s just taking that long to melt it all. Where I took the pictures above around the side of the house the snow pile is maybe 2m in diameter and .5 meters deep. It’ll be gone in another day or two.
