A couple of weeks ago I decided it was time to do some ebay browsing to see if I could come up with anything interesting. The resulting order arrived today:
An M2 Detroit Bruisers series 1957 Dodge Coronet Police Car to go with my HW ’57 Plymouth Fury, M2 ’57 Dodge Royal Lancer D500 and M2 ’57 Chrysler 300C.
A Twin Mill II, to which I’m going to be kind and only call it homely (I see why they replaced it with the Twin Mill III). However, I have an original Twin Mill and a Twin Mill III, so I figured I should have the tweener to fill out the set.
In all my ‘60s and ‘70s Mopar cars, I have some Pro Stock drag racers, but I had no Funny Cars. I picked up two Johnny Lightning Dragsters USA series cars:
Roger Lindamood’s “Color Me Gone” ’72 Dodge Challenger
Ed McCulloch’s “Revellution” ’71 Dodge Demon
Also in all my Mopars, I didn’t have a single convertible…
I fixed that by picking up a Johnny Lightning Mopar Mayhem series ’71 Dodge Challenger RT convertible...
...and a Johnny Lightning Mopar or No Car series 1967 Plymouth GTX convertible.
While browsing the seller for a few other things to pad out the order to maximize shipping charge value, I came across this Malibu International diecast. I thought it looked sort of cool, and it was cheap, so I grabbed it.
1954 Chevrolet Bel Air Hardtop
When searching various ebay sellers, I always search for “Charger” (I know, I know, it’s a sickness), and this seller had these two I hadn’t seen before. These will both remain unliberated and have been added to my carded Charger bulletin board.
A 1974 Brazilian Dodge Charger.
and a 1999 Dodge Charger R/T Concept (although it doesn’t actually say “concept” on it anywhere.
