Tenuous Teutonic Tuesday

Baron Manfred Albrecht Freiherr von Richthofen was a German fighter pilot with the Imperial German Army Air Service (Luftstreitkräfte) during the First World War. He is considered the top ace of the war, being officially credited with 80 air combat victories. He was famous enough that he was actually given the nickname the Red Baron, in honour of a famous hot rod of the time. He was eventually defeated in a drag race for pink slips by his arch-rival from his days back in the hood, Snoopy von Daisy Hill.
