Marvellously Massive Magnificent Modern Mopar Muscle Monday

This is the Hot Wheels portion of my Gen 1 (2005-2010) LX Charger SRT8 collection. I have a carded (where applicable) and DLM’d copy of each of these.

Warning, loads of pictures ahead…

Hot Wheels has what I consider 4 variations:

Variation 1:

Variation 1 has Police, Super Bee and regular SRT8 versions.

The Charger SRT8 Police version only has tampos for the light bars.

Variation 1 - Charger SRT8 Super Bee version

There are two versions of the Burnt Orange; this one with an orange wing and one with a black wing which I’m currently missing.

The White (warm) to Dark Brown (cold) Colour Shifter even has a “Shifting” package:

Variation 2:

Charger SRT8 Drift (Police casting 1)

What I call “Casting 1” has a push bar on the front, a light bar which is a hole in the casting with the window moulding extending through it, the wing is part of the casting, and it does not have a roll cage.

This one is only available in the Rescue Racers 5-Pack – note the light bar design:

In this shot you can see that there’s no roll cage visible in the side or rear windows.

Variation 3:

Charger SRT8 Drift (Police casting 2)

What I consider “Casting 2” has a push bar the on front, a light bar which is a hole in the casting with the window moulding extending through it, but the casting has a raised lip around the opening, the wing is plastic instead of being part of the casting, and it has a roll cage.

This one is only available in the Police Pursuit 5-Pack:

This shot clearly shows the different design on the light bar as well as the full roll cage visible in the side and rear windows.

Variation 4:

Charger SRT8 Drift

This variation has a scoop on the roof, the wing is plastic and it has a roll cage.

This Metalflake Silver one has White, Dark Blue, Gray and Black tampos. There’s also one with White, Dark Blue, Blue and Black tampos which I’m currently missing, although when I mentioned it in another post, Camshaft Chris - NwmP! found two of them on ebay, which I immediately purchased.
