Walmart/TRU Hawl

Today I was back into Halifax (Dartmouth actually, on the other side of the Halifax Harbour) for a Mopar Show, so on the way home I stopped at Walmart and TRU to check out their offerings... Ended up spending about $15.

(Kitchen table photos - my lightbox is packed. DLM’s will follow in 3 weeks when I’m unpacked and it’s set back up.)

Walmart had these four, three of which I’ve been actively searching for. I didn’t know I needed the ’67 Chevy C10, but as soon as I saw it I knew it had to be mine:

TRU had these six. I’ve been watching for the Elmiraj and Tesla, and I’m trying to get all 10 of the Now and Then cars and needed the ’65 Mustang. The Bentley caught my eye and there’s no way I could pass up an old gasser, so I grabbed the Bel Air too. Within the last couple of months, I’ve become enamoured with the job Matchbox does on their 4x4s, so I’m buying every actual production model or reasonably realistic-looking one I see. Hence the Jeep Hurricane - I can sense a Hurricane vs. Cyclone showdown coming on...

And for Sir Tinfoil, at the show today, directly imported from his neck of the world, UUUUUUUUUte!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Ute was simply identified on the windshield card as a “Dodge Ute”.

It has a 215 c.i. 6-cylinder Hemi!

The owner of these two Australian Dodges had 7 vehicles at the show, the above two, a new Ram Red Express pickup, and old Dodge Ram Sportsman pickup, a Green With Envy Challenger Hellcat, a Challenger R/T aaaaand I forget what the other one was.

There were two other Hellcats; a Redline Red Charger and another Green With Envy Challenger.

There was an A100 with a 408 big block which made my knees go all wobbly when he fired it up:
