I grabbed one of my dear old black Hot Birds from my youth, and paired it with the foxy new Greenlight Blues Mobile casting. They’re currently holding the fort on my desk at work.
By the way, getting back into this after all these years has really proven one thing: The Malaise era gave us some shitty cars that gave us some amazing toys.
Seriously. The crazy proportions, the sharp angles, so much more charismatic than modern nearly-identical pill cars. Don’t get me wrong, I’d take a modern car to drive over an old one 99 times out of a hundred. But when it comes to diecast, give me boxy and big any day.
