I’ve been watching that AMC warm the pegs at Jeffrey’s for a while now. But after thinking on it, and being propagandized by Lamley’s YouTube channel, I decided to just go ahead. I’m not super into the loud Hot Wheels branding but the car really is a cool shape, and I’m starting to warm up to US muscle after all. As for the rest of the set, I’d probably get the Chevy if I found it in person, but won’t chase it around eBay. The other two? Eh. Maybe I’d buy the VW just because someone on here would want it.
Now, the Deadpool truck... this one’s actually for my kid. He’s a huge Deadpool fan (despite being too young to see the movies) and I knew I just had to get it for him. Of course, had that not been the case, I would have gotten it for me anyway. But I’d rather it went to him.
Also, the guy working the register apparently didn’t know this was on his own pegs, and would have ganked it otherwise. Part of me wanted to relinquish it, but clearly not enough. Like, my left foot maybe. Or my appendix. Not the important bits.
