Those are some tests I’m running for an asphalt texture, on bare wood, which is going to be the base. On the left, joint compound, which I realize isn’t going to work because it’s STILL soft after several weeks. Oh well.
On the right, the spraypaint I used on Project:Validation, plus some of that cheap craft paint from Target. So far, the cheap craft paint looks like the winner.
I just sprayed that same section with some dull clear coat, so I’ll see how that comes out. Then, I’ll leave a car I don’t care about sitting on it all day to see what happens.
