Mailfind - from a non-LaLD member!

So some of you know I recently picked up a 1:1 project and as such I’ve been in contact with the seller so I can go pick up my 1968 Volvo Amazon wagon (!!!!!!).

Well today I got a package that included the title since the bill of sale and money transfer has been completed in the transaction. The seller decided to include a little something extra.

He sent out what I presume to be a 1:87 model Amazon Wagon! I’ve been trying to find a model on the EBays and was finding some 1:43 stuff surprisingly. Dinky Toys made a 122S Sedan in 1:43 (for R32Rennsport) and Minichamps actually made the wagon version (for Axiomatic)!

I was pretty confident no one had done a 1:64 and I totally forgot 1:87 was a thing. Leave it to the germans to bring up the slack. This model is made by Brekina out of Germany. It’s greaet. Clear headlights, great details, and even the ‘volvo’ logo on the front! Scale looks to be top-notch as well! Pics:

Final pic to compare to hot-wheels scale. Love it! Similar color to the one I’ve bought and only other detail I’ve noticed that is different is that mine has a roof-rack as an option. Otherwise this model is VERY good. Can’t believe you can get this detail in 1:87...
