LaLD Car Week 2018: Sagaris

SN210 said we could pick whatever color we wanted, so why not something that has color-changing paint?!

This was on my grail list for some time until I found one being sold out of Russia. I wanted it so bad I went with the risk and it paid off. This is a 1:43 resin model from Spark with the signature TVR Chameleon paint. This specific paint goes from a yellow-gold to light orange to a reddish orange, and then to a purple depending on how the light hits it. It may be my most coveted model because of the paint. The paint is also known as ChromaFlair and works by refracting light similar to how oil on the ground gives off that rainbow-like sheen. Science!

Anyways, it’s hard to really show how the paint changes colors with only images... so I made some videos. Volume up!

Broken down, here are some shots showing the ‘individual’ colors.

With the new TVR Griffith coming out soon, I’m hoping we will get a new Sagaris one day. Not as wild engineering as the Speed 12, but definitely the most wild in the style department. And with that, a final video. Again, volume up!

Cheers, and what an awesome Car Week this has been!
