I think we all know the story of this car. The story of the car that shouldn’t have won and shouldn’t have raced in the first place. With pressure from the owners, McLaren made the racing versions, and with some luck and a bulletproof car, this thing made history.

Not only did this car beat the 2nd place WSC class car (prototypes for that era), McLaren F1's took 4 of the top 5 spots in the race. 1995 was the year that the F1 was cemented in history.

This 1/18 scale model comes from TSM, who’s made it in a few other excellent liveries as well. It’s a wonderful model that gets everything just right.
