For Wagon wednesday I present a Matchbox Mercury Villager from my childhood collection. This is one of the few cars that survived “The Day of the Cinderblock”, and has always been one of my favorites. Pulling it out again I realized how rough it has become, and am tempted to give it a minor restoration(polish the raw metal bumpers & windows, repaint the wheels, buff the remaining paint) but keep the years of patina intact.
