Custom Ford Escort

Here is the last of the batch of customs I built. But I saved the best for last.

Another period custom, I wanted to turn the Escort into something that might be tearing up a local track or rally circuit in Britain back in the day. Then drive to work on Monday.

After stripping, the car received a full repaint in a shade of green like you might expect to find in the 70s, a brown interior(to replace the chrome original), and a set of steelies with Goodyear tires off a Nascar diecast.

I was honestly blown away at how well this one ended up coming out. The tires give this thing presence. I can just imagine it snarling its way down a tree-lined B-road.
