I had a Shattered Highways playtesting session this weekend, so built a few more vehicles. I also did a better job of photographing some I’d built recently, so I figured I’d share.
This Oshkosh plow truck was given a new front bumper, the sander was replaced with the body & cab from an ambulance, and the gunner’s position and rear armor were made from a cut up Cobra.
This Fiat Topolino Hot Rod got tractor tires front & rear and the trunk cut off to make a platform for the rear warrior.
This Gasser drag racer has been stripped down to the bare metal, had the hood & trunk lid removed, been given beefier tires front & rear, and had grab bars for the rear warrior added.
The Fire Truck is now sporting dual flamethrowers, making the name more accurate, and the truck more dangerous.
This is the body of a Camaro, with the front fenders off a Cord, mounted on an off-road chassis. (this took some abuse during the session and needs a paint touch-up)
This Jaguar body has had it’s rear hatch removed, and been mounted on a off-road racing chassis, with the motor and front shock mounts sticking up through the hood.
This Hot Wheels Bone Shaker was given a wheel swap, mesh roof, and a rust detail paint over the original red paint job, being careful to preserve the skull & crossbones door decoration.
This Corvette had the engine moved to the rear, and the gunners position put where the engine was. Then a wheel swap and detail painting.
This Station wagon was turned into a pickup, mounted on a taller chassis, and stripped down to bare metal.
I did these both the pad out the armies, and show how much can be accomplished with just flat black spray paint and some quick dry-brushing.
