Today we have someone’s project Mustang. While the rust and body work are still a work in progress, that isn’t going to keep them from tearing up the streets.
The paint is pretty much done in, with rust peeking through all over, but she did hit the worst spots with some primer.
With the new intake setup the stock hood no longer fit. So she bought a custom fiberglass unit, and slapped it on in all its primered glory.
The passenger door was in bad enough shape it made more sense to track down a junkyard unit, and a new lower quarter was welded in to fix the one badly rotted spot.
She keeps planning to get the bodywork done, but when she throws open the garage door and is faced with this, she’d rather drive it or make it faster, instead of sitting and sanding bodywork.
