On display are a pair of 1953 Buick convertibles, the question is which would you rather have?

Up first is the maroon car. It ls mostly stock looking, but seems to have been fitted with some Cragar style wheels.

Given this era of Buicks were often referred to as “The banker’s hot rod”, and that 1953 was the year the Buick V8 debuted, the wheels seem appropriate.

Alternately we have this customized version. It may be rolling on simple white walls with hubcaps, but its tri-tone paint job and hood pinstriping are far from subtle. The interior has even bee re-stitched in a matching color.
