If I can’t find a current MBX/HW on the pegs, There is no more effective way for me to suddenly find a glut at my local stores than to finalize a trade for them with someone else.
I have a MBX ‘59 chevy wagon and Hudson police car coming to me from mattylightning. So right after I mailed my half of the trade I stopped at my local Toys R Us and found two cases of boxed versions of both.
Not that this is a problem, as it meant I could pick up two of each and have plenty of spares for customizing.
Unrelated, 1/18 cars are shockingly expensive to ship when you’re used to 1/64s.
