I’m trying to save my Greenlight car trailer. I tried to remove the tampos with acetone, only to go through the base paint and discover it is made of tinted clear plastic. Then I tried to paint it and the spray paint fisheyed & ran badly.
So now I need to strip the spray paint (and preferably the original paint) so I can try again. What would people suggest for stripping paint from what seems like the same kind of plastic as they make windows from? Acetone seemed to craze it slightly, paint stripper I know will melt it. Pine-sol? Oven cleaner?
