I built this wagon for a friend. The ‘59 chevy wagon is their dream vehicle, and I matched the color scheme on their ‘72 VW camper van.
The photos were taken by them on their cell camera, and needed a bunch of cropping and white balancing to be usable. I didn’t get a chance to photograph it myself because I didn’t do final assembly til they came by for a party so they could chose the wheels they wanted.
They got it a month ago, and you can actually see they’ve nearly worn the silver trim paint off the sides because they keep playing with it. This is frankly the biggest complement. It isn’t just sitting on a shelf, as a grownup they still want to play with this toy car I made for them.
I’m probably going to builf another one for myself, because seeing it again I’m reminded how much fun it was to build and how good it came out.
