I’ve been passing up other versions of this Maisto flatbed for a while, but the’59 Chevy on the back of this one was enough to finally make me pick it up.
As both the Maisto and the Greenlight above are supposed to be International Durastars, a comparison is inevitable. The GL is definitely more realistic & better proportioned, but with the extending & tilting bed the Maisto has much better play value.

The Maisto’s biggest letdown is the ultra low profile wheels, which you’d never find on a truck intended to haul actual loads. I’ve been looking for a wheel donor to get some better proportioned wheels under it. Once I do that, it’ll probably stay in the tow fleet.
