Flea Market Hawl

The summer flea market near me is now open, and my partner and I go most Sundays. I hadn’t been actively looking to pick anything up, but the vendors conspired to make it work out otherwise.

First up were these Commer vans by the dutch company EFSI. I’ve never seen them before (or even heard of the company) and really liked the look of them. At $4/each I decided they were worth picking up, even if I’m not sure what I’m going to do with them. The ruined Majorette Peugeot wagon was probably overpriced at $1 , but looked neat and will (with some weathering) end up in the junkyard part of the diorama.

Next up are these three for $1/each, the pickup is going to give up it’s deep dish wheels, as happens to every one I can get my hands on.

Lastly was this batch. This was from a vendor selling recent mainline carded MBX & HW, mostly for $2/card. Bizarrely though he had a bin of much of the same vehicles uncarded at $0.25/each. So all the loose cars above were $4 total, including the Star Wars delivery and the Zamac 2002 swapped (badly) to RR wheels. They’re all going in the parts donor pile.

The carded ‘55 Chevy was only $1, despite being a lot more uncommon than the stuff he was asking $2/for. Seriously weird vendor.

Heck of a hawl for $15.
