Lowrider comparison

I finally found one of the Hot Wheels lowriders at the flea market this weekend. It happened to be a Monte Carlo, which i also have as a Revell lowrider. So a quick comparison was in order.

The casting and proportions feel more right on the Revell. And i like the wheels better on the Revell.

Where the Hot Wheels shines is in its suspension. While the Revell can only lock in high & low positions front and rear. The Hot Wheels is mounted on ball joints that allow independent side to side rotation and ability to sit in almost any position.

This allows the Hot Wheels to lean and three-wheel. Which is more realistic to the actual hydraulics on a traditional low rider.

Either one looks great in my collection though, and I want more.
