Teutonic Tuesday: Ein, zwei, Polizei!

I've seen several police cars pass by on LaLD, mostly American. Both the German (924/944s) and the Dutch policeforce (911 Targa) used Porsches (mostly highway patrol) back in the days.

This one is a Norev 1/43 and it's supposed to be a Düsseldorf Porsche 924 'Einsatzfahrzeug'. Most Norevs I have are not the best when it comes to quality and this one is no exception. The rims look good unless you look to the position of them. These all seem to be positioned too much towards the front when you ask me so the undercarriage probably was used for something different as well.

The angle of the flashlight is odd as well (and misses a part). On the left the original one, even the registration is the same!

Also some mirrors and fog-lights are missing, signal lights are just painted instead of glass, the hatch seems to be able to be opened but doesn't really (or I don't know how): it just is your typical, not that expensive Norev. Minichamps has one as well and that one is way better. And at least 4 times as expensive.

It's been amazing that police-forces around here drove Porsches anyway, especially that 911.

There's not much left to write about this one, most of you will know the 924 I presume.
