It came by before. Last week in my French Friday rant about logistics for those “Citroëns by Norev”. And way before that as well in Craig’s UCC-Mercedes post. And that’s the one that told me Norev made this one in the first place! Because it is a Norev but it isn’t sold through the regular Norev channels.

I won’t go start telling what the Blue Wonder, or the Renntransporter, was all about as Pillarless Coupe told us already when he showed us that epic CMC. I don’t have a proper 1/64 300SL to put on it either. Luckily there’s another factory in Stuttgart I’ve got plenty of.

And as they’re both from around ‘54 it’s totally period-correct. That’s about it though. Not sure if Dr. Ferry Porsche would appreciate his racing cars being transported by his neighbor but still: Looks totally alright to me!

So where can you get it? I got it at my local Mercedes-Benz dealer. I’m not sure if they’re available as well in the US though. If not: I’m sending one to Shopteacher in the near future for an iHWEP (we’re working on that). So I could add a bunch if there’s more interest. How you get it from there - Illinois - is something you’ll have to discuss with him (EDIT: he does want to function as a logistic center!), according to Philipilihp that should be about 4 or 5 US$. I can get ‘m for 10 euros.

That Porsche is a Kyosho 1/64. And I won’t have to tell how amazing that one is either I suppose. How you can get one of those easily is beyond me. They’re available at Ebay for about $15. Still totally worth it.

So that’s it for this week. Take care, enjoy your thanksgiving. I hope all crops have been harvested properly and there’s enough turkeys for everyone. ENJOY!
