I had other Teutonic plans for today but when I saw R32Rennsport’s announcement it’s 550 Spyder Day today I decided to skip the initial idea and tag along. A little throwback.
I’ve shared a few 550's before so it’s mainly stuff you might have seen before but you can skip easily if you don’t want to see it anyway.
I think I’ve got four 550s. The silver 1/64 Kyosho you see here, which I also have in white, the silver 1/43 #159 Panamericana driven by Karl Kling by Brumm and the Hongwell 1/43 Stradale in red.
I could show some 718s maybe as well as that was a development of the Porsche 550. Showed some of those before as well.
A significant car for Porsche, the 550, so it deserves a proper day on it’s own over here on LaLD, thanks for reminding us R32!
It means a less-worded post for me this Teutonic Tuesday but I hope to see more of these nimble little beasts from Zuffenhausen. TODAY!
Tschüss!
