Teutonic Tuesday: Welly 5'' Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7

Yes, it’s another Welly box-scale model of a similar scale range as that of the 918 RSR I posted last time. And why not? They do make great models.

And for a budget 5’’ model, it’s certainly quite detailed. The side stripes and matching Fuchs wheels are present and correct.

Only the driver’s side gets a door mirror.

The 2.7 badge on the grill is finished nicely.

As you may have noticed, the side window glass swings out with the door as well.

The engineering needed to pull that off means that the model has separately molded door cards, something not usually found at this price point.

I certainly wasn’t expecting to come across this model, but I certainly am glad I did.
