I attended the Animax Carnival Malaysia all weekend. The convention was rather light on merchandise, or rather had little non-Animax merchandise that wasn’t for Attack on Titan, Assassination Classroom, One Piece and One Punch Man (considering the advertising there for other upcoming series I was really hoping for more), so after picking up the plush, cushion and thermal mug featuring the event mascot, I turned my mind to the stores in the shopping mall the convention center was connected to.
Asides from not buying much merchandise to afford the other stuff, the Toys ‘R Us had a buy 3 get 1 free deal on mainline cars for Star Card members (well, let’s see how useful my diecast buying habits are to them), the Cool Classics were 50% off to get rid of the leftover ‘55 Corvettes and Astro Funks and the Delta Integrale was 20% off.
