If you’re wondering what lycasin is, it’s what makes Haribo sugar free bears so infamous. Anyway, on to the twin 911s...
These are Siku’s Cup-Race (their term) and Driving School (race school?) 911. Despite the names, without the tampos and the Driving School 911's roof sign, they are identical to the regular 911 casting, down to the license plate. Interestingly, both are grey line cars despite the regular 911 being a blue line car.
Despite all that, they certainly do stand out from the crowd. I swear the pic was perfectly focused on the phone...
The Driving School 911 comes with a sticker sheet for the roof sign. As you may have noticed, I haven’t used it yet.
If you’re wondering why all shots of the Driving School 911 are all on the passenger’s side, the driver’s side door won’t shut right. This isn’t the case for the Haribo 911, mercifully.
MarcoIsAnF1Freak mentioned that some Siku 911s erroneously have Cayenne S scripting on the rear instead of Carrera S as it should be. I can report that this isn’t the case for the Driving School 911. Note the questionable paint finishing under the wing...
The Haribo 911 has no scripting whatsoever. It takes quite a bit of effort to mess up something that doesn’t exist...
It’s been a long time since I last wrote a Teutonic Tuesday post, so if you’re still here, thanks for reading! So much for a school break allowing more time for hobbies...
