This base will be a frequent sight in the next few pictures. Why? I can’t unscrew the car from its base.

No, that’s not metal stripped from the screwdriver. It’s stripped from the screw.

Anyway, back to the model. It’s a promotional model from Petron (a petrol/gas station franchise) that used to be purchaseable with a certain amount of petrol purchased. But that was a year ago, and by the time I walked into one of their convenience stores this year they were willing to sell me one without making me buy some petrol as well.

The rear RSR badging is quite well printed, and so is the Petron logo where a license plate would go on a road legal 911.

Interior is quite detailed as well. You may notice some gunk there though. Yes. Gunk. It’s been sitting on a shelf for what must be a year now, so I suppose it was inevitable. Doesn’t look like run of the mill dust either.

Now, to figure out how to get that screw off and clean the car up. After that, well, the white looks pretty good on it.
