Frankfurt IAA diecast market

It’s been a week since I went to one of the best car shows in the world and I’ve been lazy about putting this post together. I tried to get photos of all the stores and displays each manufacturer had. It was a little hectic so I may have missed some.

Audi had quite a lot available. I would have gotten the new R8, but it was out of my price range (over 100 I think)

Mercedes-Benz had a lot to offer too, but just like 2 years ago not the one I wanted. I love the yellow they do on the AMG GT and the SLS Black, but they only had it in 1:18.

One of the diecast vendors outside. I really liked this Audi test car, but didn’t have space to bring it home.

I REALLY wanted a model of this, but Bugatti wasn’t selling anything more than cheap RC toys this year. Pictures don’t do this car justice, the details are amazing in person.

Bently had some Bently priced models for sale.

Volkswagon had a really nice display too. They had a catalog of diecasts near the checkout but it looked to be the last one. They had everything in there too, everything!

Lamborghini had Lamborghini priced models, or 8 Euro toys which I was douped into buying 2 years ago.

This is where I bought the bulk of my HAWL. They had tons of great cars and pretty good prices for most of them. My lady friend even got a candid photo of me scoping out the display case. This is the same company I bought a handful from 2 years ago at the IAA, and I freaked out a little bit when they weren’t in the same place thinking there may not be any big stores this year.

I must have forgotten to get a photo of Porsche and BMW’s offerings, but they had a nice display on their walls.
