I haven’t forgotten about you guys, just been busy enjoying unemployed civilian life for a little while.
I took my girlfriend to historic Ellicott City, Maryland last weekend to show her all the cool little shops. It’s a cute little historic style town with a bunch of small antique and unique shops, but not quite cool enough to recommend for people from out of the area. Anyways, we found a store selling toys and collector items like old video games, Legos, old transformers toys and HOT WHEELS!!!
They had a pretty decent collection of older cars. Saw a couple examples of the Callaway C7 in a purple color and a few weird colors of the GT90. They also had a bunch of these treasure hunts, but they didn’t interest me too much.
Here is what I did end up getting. I noticed I was a little low on the American side of my collection so these will fill that gap nicely. The Chevelle goes with the 3 others I have on card from the 1999 first editions too.
Our apartment is kind of small so I don’t have room to display the 1:43s unfortunately. So posts about those will have to wait a little while more since they’re boxed up at my parents’ house.
