Yes, you read that right, Mattel has finally released a BMW in their Disney Pixar Cars range. My whole family are huge fans of the movies, especially my younger brother, who collected the cars when the first movie came out. It was the first film I saw on Blu - Ray, which blew my mind as a kid, especially the scene when McQueen gets his new metallic paint job, and they cruise under the neon signs. In the second movie in the cinema, I swore I saw an E90 in the crowd, and when we got it on Blu-Ray my suspicions were confirmed. I’ve been waiting for ages for this model to be released. There are also a couple of 2002’s in the film, which are yet to be released.
It was actually Jobjoris’s post where he mentioned a cartoonified BMW 700 which reminded me about this car
This guys name is Scott Motorse, and there are other e90’s which make appearances in Cars 2
This model is weird in the fact that the front end is from the facelift e90, but the rear end is pre-facelift. EDIT: Philip corrected me, the majority of this model is the pre facelift, but the bonnet is the one from the facelift...weird
