Over Thanksgiving Break my dad decided it would be a great idea to pull me and my little brother a day early from school, fly to Phoenix, AZ and spend an entire week meandering about the state in a rental ‘14 Town & Country. While the trip was extremely fun (as anticipated) it also marked my first diecast hawl of the holiday season as my parents agreed to buy me whatever castings I found interesting whenever we went grocery shopping at Walmart (we stay in Worldmark Wyndham locations so we have a kitchen to cook in). At the end of the week, I had gathered 36 of the latest and most interesting castings (IMO) and finally got around to opening them the other day.
Overall I’m quite happy with my findings! The 180SX, MBX Tesla, HW Porsche, HW Escort, HW VW Caddy, and HW M4 were some that I had been hoping to find for some time. The HW BRAT, MBX M5, MBX Toyota Tacoma, HW Mustang Mach I, and HW Firebird were bonuses that really appealed to me in the store. The HW New NSX, DBS, DB5, Elmiraj, 370z, Tesla Roadster, and Mazda RX-7 are recolors that I had to have. This bodes well for the rest of the holiday season. Happy Hunting to all!
