Haven't been diecasting for a while...

So I haven’t posted on LaLD for a while, mainly because I haven’t done anything with diecast for a while! I decided yesterday though that it was high time to go hunting and was pleasantly surprised by what I came up with. In my area, scalpers/enthusiasts are rampant so it’s often difficult for me to find the castings that I want, but it seems like all the stars aligned for me yesterday!

Plenty of ‘premium’ castings! The GL is for a little experiment which I might showcase later...

The two trucks are more aligned with my interests: old and odd. The 993 is my first, and the CRX should compliment my Cool Classics nicely.

The GT series and Ford GT are the more ‘popular’ cars which usually don’t interest me as much but they’re pretty good castings so I got them anyway!

Interestingly, the ‘Vette and the GT-R are the only two cars I really wanted from the GT series since the former is a lovely color and livery and the GT-R is just kind of a novelty; it just so happens they were the only two left on the pegs at Target!
