Driving home today, I saw an ambulance rushing by me, presumably to some emergency. It then occurred to me that I do not have many ambulances in my collection (I have plenty of police cars though).
Two of the ones I have are from the Tomica Limited Vintage (TLV) range and as usual these look superb. I have never seen these in real-life before so do not know how accurate the details are but seeing how TLV hardly gets it wrong, I am going to say these flawless.
Seeing how these are not the usual big ambulance vehicles that we see today, it is a wonder how they could fit the patient in the back.
These are fitted with the "suspensions" which gives the car the bouncy handling. I do love the simple red line and siren which gives these their identity as ambulances (the Japanese police cars are similar with their simple black and white two-tone scheme)
