I like the Pop Culture Hot Wheels... there, I said it. I know it’s a lazy attempt to sell more cars (stick some pop culture art on a car, throw some real riders on it, sell for a premium). The results can be meh or they can be yeah!!! To me, the Jetsons Ranchero is a meh, but that Elmer Fudd Bronco is definitely a yeah!!!
If Elmer Fudd was a real-life hunter, the Bronco is something I can picture him driving. Lovely paint scheme, art not over-the-top, and real riders on metal/metal - ticks all the boxes for me.
For the Jetsons, something like the Astro Funk may be more suitable but that thing is ugly so probably wouldn’t sell.
Talking about ugly, can anybody tell me what that thing is on the last photo? I was in a taxi in Singapore when I spotted it, so quickly took a photo.
