Track Day must have been released recently here in Australia. I only found out since someone posted about 10 sets that he scored from the shops on Instagram. Knowing full well that I would never find this set out in the wild, I went ahead and bought a set from him (I hate feeding the scalpers, but he was selling it the cheapest amongst the other scalpers).
I assume this set is popular because of the 510 but for me, the VW would be my favourite - lovely and quirky cast, a spoiler that opens to reveal the engine. For the set, I can’t really pick out a weak choice, and compared to other Car Culture releases, this may surpass the Japan Historics for my top choice.
Anyway on a side note, I finally went ahead and bought the Tomica Limited Vintage Hino transporter which was on my eBay watchlist for nearly a year. I might start using it more for future “deliveries”.
